Brochures
This section would not have been possible with out the assistance of Graham Jones. He sent me an email in June of 1998 telling me that he had once worked at Martin Walter and had cleaned out an empty office, saving a few brochures and badges as souvenirs.
Following that email, he began sending jpg of the brochures, pictures and badges. I made an email introduction of Graham to Simon DeBues and Graham began sending both Simon and me jpgs. When my email box got filled, he resorted to posting the photos on a web page and having me get the photos from the page. Gradually, I receieved all the information he had. All of this led to a problem though; my ISP provides 5 megs for web pages and I needed to find new storage space for all this new information. I knew I had to post it and since I had my own brochures, I knew that I needed even more space.
So, for the time being, I am using my work Mac G3 computer as a web server. I don't think demand will be that high but would ask that you be aware of my situation. If my computer starts to act weird, I'll probably turn off web sharing. If you intend to visit every pageand view every document, please do it at night when I won't be there. Of course, if you have a fast connection, try 8AM or before, because I won't be at work that early and even if I was, I'd be setting up experiments, not doing computer work.
The pages are minimalist. Thumbnails of brochures or pictures are image mapped so you can click on a photo and get a full size scan. Use your browsers back button to go back to the index page. I haven't put an index at the bottom of any of the pages and they are organized into two distinct areas: stuff that Graham provided and stuff that I already had.
