Series III sales extended into 1975, but no data from that year is known. The production for US Series III 88's was:

Total Series built: about 18,000 and 3 unknown years. Assuming 650 per year in those missing years would imply a total of 20,000 Series Land Rovers originally imported.

Between 1975 and 1986, no Land Rovers were sold in North America. A number of grey markent ones were imported by various vendors.
