For Spark Plug part numbers, the top one is plug type, the next is Champoin Stock number and the third is "truck plug".

For all other vendors, the information is which of the other vendor's spark plugs map to which Champion plug. These should be compatible in the other direction...

From Ian Stewart in the UK:

It is worth mentioning that, in the days of British Leyland, many parts from the Montego and Maestro cars also fit Range Rover, Defender and early Discovery from that era.

Alternate signal flasher for Defender MOD: TRICO EP-26 $10.00 vs 70.00

Also:

  • Sherpa Vans used the same indicator stalk (abet on the other side).
  • Montego diesel engines have a 65Amp alternator with the same mounting bracket as the standard 2.25-engine unit.
  • The steering wheel from MGs, Morris, Montego and Maestro cars fit the SIII column. The Morris Ital wheel is the best, as it has finger-grips on the back and is slightly smaller that the LR wheel, without being too small (like the usual car size)
